Egads...

What a crazy few weeks.

Christmas morning we found out that Grandpa had passed away. Not entirely unexpected, but still very heartbreaking (especially for oldest DD). The girls and I traveled up for the funeral, stayed a couple days to rest and visit, then came back home.

2 days later - car accident. UGH! Of course, it happens in the evening. So, after all the calls and what not Friday evening and Saturday morning, we had to wait until Monday to get a rental. Thankfully, while I'm a bit sore and banged up, we weren't *seriously* injured.

Then, last week we spent fretting and prepping for hubby's hospital visit. Thankfully, before performing major invasive surgery, doc decided to just double check things out. We ended up with a minor procedure that (so far) seems to have fixed what my hubby has been suffering with for 2 YEARS!!! He's like a new man already.

Things have been stressful and hectic, but overall we have had good news. DH doesn't have to go through major surgery! Another amazing answered prayer is that his cousin Tim was told that his 2nd appearance of leukemia is now gone. They find no evidence of it in his system!

Gotta run and take care of the kidlets... more later.
