Tax on Junk Food in IL

I know they've done a tax on junk foods in the UK and various other places, but never really thought we'd let it happen here in the U.S. And, like most of our tax laws, this one is just as confusing for retailers. Now, not only will prices increase because of the tax, but food prices will soar just so retailers can pay the accountants to figure out how and what to tax. Of course, no one considers what this will do to the businesses who are marketing these products.

(of course, there are plenty of us TN that would not mind the 6.25% tax rate on the "food/junk food"... lol... we pay 7.75%!)
