Kroger
I did this last nite:
13 Kraft cheeses
10 nabisco crackers (wheat thins)
4 Kleenex with lotion
2 green giant steamers
1 chex mix
4 Suave
marked down milk
marked down dozen eggs
reg. price dozen eggs
a couple other items
-15.00 for promo
-9.75 13x.75 cheese coupon
-10.00 10x1.00 wyb cheese and crackers
-2.00 2x.50 steamers (doubled)
-1.00 1x.50 chex mix (doubled)
-.60 1x.60 chex mix cellfire coupon
-3.20 4x.40 kleenex lotion coupons
-4.00 4x.50 suave
-1.00 1x.50 eggland's best eggs coupon
Total oop 28.82 I had 40 items total. .72/per item
The big annoyance was the cheese coupons because they prompt for price, so the cashier had to manually input each one. I have heard rumor that they'll be restocking the blinkies around the 26th, and that the new coupons should be coded to automatically deduct. However, the cashier didn't seemed phased by it - but you never know. I totally wish we had maybe 30.00 more in our budget this month - I would soooo stock up on the cheese! I think I figured out that 30 cheeses would be around 26.xx (ish depending on how the tax works out).

Check Walgreens' clearance
Yup... great deals!!
They had L'Oreal Vive Pro shampoo/conditioner for 1.79 - free after the coupon in the Easy Saver Booklet.
Bioinfusions Organics and Professional shampoo/conditioner for 2.19 - .19 each after the coupon in the booklet
Sunsilk stylers for 1.19 - included in the buy 8 Unilever products, get 10.00 (and works with the recent 2.00/2 newspaper coupon!)
Dove shampoo - 2.59 - also included in the Unilever deal. There are various coupons available for these also. :) Good hunting ladies!
I found 15 bottles of the bioinfusion. I had a 10.00 Unilever RR, so I couldn't get any of the sunsilk with it. To roll it, I did 1 Alkaseltzer cold (5.00), 6 bayer aspirin (2.50 each), and the 15 bioinfusions. Used my 10.00 unilever RR, 6x1.00 bayer coupons, 1 free alkaseltzer cold item (mailer coupon from when I emailed and complimented them on something), and the 2.00/1 bioinfusion easy saver coupon. 6.74 oop - and 4.89 of that was tax! The receipt says I saved $144.53! (regular price on the bioinfusions run 6.99/7.99 at Walgreens!)

Dinner & Food City
Well, I'm making split pea soup in the slow cooker. It smells great to me, and what tiny taste I took, I think it's coming along well. Even so, I think that it will just be me and baby (who will eat anything) enjoying this concoction tonite. Thankfully, I've got some cheese slices - so hubby and oldest dd are having grilled cheese sammiches.
I did pick up a small piece of lamb today at food city - .99/lb!! Gonna see what I can do with it (or save it for stew...) They had great markdowns on produce, meats, & dairy. They also had a TON of great tearpad coupons. I may have to visit them a few times more... lol. 1.00/1 Sara Lee bread wyb milk, 1.00/1 Nabisco cracker wyb Kraft Cheese (kroger, I'm baaaccckkkk), 1.00/2 planters products 9.25 oz+, 1.00/3 Capri Sun or Koolaid Jammers juice Drinks (10 ct), 15.00 gac cahs card w/$40 P&G purchase rebate form, .75/1 Kraft 2% cheese blinky (in case kroger is out), 1.00/1 Quaker Oatmeal blinky.

Kroger Mega Deal
Okie dokie... Kroger is doing a mega deal - buy 10 items, get 5.00 off your order. This isn't as good of a promo as last year (tons of overage last year!), but there are some good deals still. From what I saw, it looks like the promo goes through the 31st, and some folks have said 2/3... I forgot to ask.
Here's what I did - on the fly because I didn't have my coupon binder with me!
Things in the promo:
1.96 Kens Salad dressing x2
1.99 Kraft 2% milk cheese x10
1.00 Sobe life water x1
2.99 Kraft mayo x 2 (1 regular, 1 with olive oil to try)
1.99 Daisy sour cream x2
1.00 Rotel diced tomatoes with cilantro and lime x2
1.50 Green Giant steamers veggies - asian mix x1
Things not in promo:
1.79 Teddy Grahams, mini-oreos, and nutter butters - 6 total
.92 Idahoan potatoes (this was purely a 'buy it cuz its free' purchase... figure i can donate it!)
.56 Kroger can of cream of mushroom soup
.78 loaf of bread cuz I didn't make any this week...
1.59 marked down milk gallon
4.00 coke x4
-10.00 for the promo
-4.00 buy 3 coke, get 1 free promo
- .92 x2 free idahoan printable coupon
- .30 x2 Rotel insert q
- .50 x2 Daisy sour cream insert q
- .75 x2 Kraft mayo coupon
- .50 x1 sobe hangtag q (extra from Target's floor... lol)
- .75 x10 Kraft 2% cheese blinkie (yes, I stood there and pulled out 9 - found 1 on a shelf)
- .50 x1 Green Giant grocery steamer coupon
-3.00 x3 coke coupons (I had 4, but she thought she scanned one - but later I see that she didn't :( Still... not too bad.)
-1.00 x6 Nabisco cookie coupon from tearpad found at CVS
Tax: 5.08
Total oop: 27.24
Saved: 76.38!
34 items = .80 per item... (which is why I don't mind so much about the missed coke coupon... Not too often you pay .80 for a 12 pack!)
Should've been 3.00 less, but she missed a coupon. I don't think I'll go back for it, as they were being nice in taking the coupon anyways. It expired on 1/18 (Sunday), and I asked if it was too late to use. They said if it scans they'll take it this week. You may want to ask at your local grocery store - I guess it's more common than I thought!
I bought the cookies to fulfill the requirements on the Coke coupon and to get David some snacks for work and some yummies for the baby. Not too bad of a deal for these - worked out to .79 a package. We're stocked for a while!
I noticed the Philly cream chese was included in the sale. There were 1.00/2 printables - i'll look for the link and post it later if I find it. If you can print those, it'd make the cream cheese .30 each.
If I resell the coke at 2.50 per pack, I'll get 10.00 from that. So... makes it 17.24 oop. I may also see about selling the cookie packs that David doesn't want. If we sell 4 of them @ 1.00 each, then that's 4.00 back - so 13.24 for quite a decent ammt. of stuff that we'll use! (26 items = .51 each!) Talk about some cheap cheese!!
If all you did was 10 cheeses, then you'd be paying around 8.84 after tax (maybe less) That's a pretty good deal on name brand cheese! You do have to have the patience to stand there and yank the coupons though... lol.
